PDG Dave Moyers presided over our last Club Assembly this Rotary year. We reviewed our challenges and accomplishments this year. He opened the forum for any members to propose and discuss ideas.
Treasurer Charley Ferraro reviewed our budget and the balance between income and expenses, including our special events and projects. Our Beer-and-Wine booth at RPV City Hall, staffed by our volunteers for community events like Whale of a Day and July 4th, help to raise funds for our projects.
Other reviews included Membership (Rob Katherman), Fundraising (Chase Thacker), International Service (Marylyn Ginsberg-Klaus, who discussed our long-time Project Amigo), Newsletter Editor (Wes Bradford, who reminded everyone to keep email addresses up-to-date, and to notify him of any newsletter errors), and Palos Verdes Charities, Inc (Roger Schamp).
Most of our current officers will continue for the next year, except that Roger Schamp will not be able to continue providing speakers for the meetings.
