REPRESENTATION MATTERS

Have you ever thought why the end of the ballot may count more than the top of the ballot?

Raquel Watts has a God-given passion for helping people, especially the underserved and underrepresented. She has worked in the specialized field of Workers Compensation for the past 28 years and is currently a Senior Legal Hearing Representative for Mitchell Law Corporation where she represents injured workers and aggressively advocates for their rights to benefits.

Ms. Watts is pursuing seat 7 in the LACCD Board of Trustees to represent the multicultural student constituency in promoting the availability of educational programs, and to ensure a broad-based curriculum from trade certification to advanced degree preparation aided by fair engagement with professors, staff and fellow students. She will join us (virtually) to share why representation can level the playing field in these critical times.
