Where are you from originally? If not from LA, how did you end up here?
I am originally from Buffalo, New York. I moved to San Diego in 1960, then attended UCLA and stayed in LA.
 
Tell us about your occupation.
I retired in 2015. I had three careers – teaching, interior design, and child safety for The Salvation Army.
 
What do you do for fun?

I exercise at the San Pedro Y, go wine tasting in the Santa Ynez Valley and have attended UCLA football games at the Rose Bowl since 1976.

Why did you join Rotary and why have you stayed?
I was familiar with Rotary because my husband, Dennis, was a District Governor in '84-'85 and I wanted to serve as a Rotarian myself.
 
What is your favorite Rotary experience?

Counselors for Rotary Foundation Scholars from Japan and Germany. Also, attending 36 consecutive Rotary International Conventions.

What is your favorite book? Favorite movie?

I enjoy reading newspapers, in particular the Wall Street Journal. My favorite move is the one I saw most recently seen – Carol.

What is an item on your bucket list?

Arranging our wine storage system.
